Theme Thursday - Wings

New "Haunted" stamps from Oxford Impressions fit in nicely with Theme Thursday's wing challenge.

Welcome to our 18th challenge here at Tag Tuesday!

Sampler for Tuesday Tag Challenge #17

Wow...we had a record number of tags last week -- 21 in total! So this week I picked a sampling to share with you.
Just a reminder, you have all week to participate in this little challenge -- so there's no being late until, of course, I've posted the next week's challenge:)
Thanks to everyone who played along!

Stampers Sampler

The Oct/Nov Stampers Sampler is going to hit the stands soon and I have two projects featured in it!
This is the double-sided screen I made for Christmas and then Winter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also created this masterboard from Oxford Impression stamps along
with some cards and tags using the masterboard.
I love making masterboards and this is probably my favorite of the ones I've made.
Theme Thursday
Theme Thursday's challenge is to use script or text. I've chosen this page from an old shorthand textbook to use as my background.
Tuesday Tag Challenge #17 - Children
Today's challenge is easy enough -- create a tag with children (child) as your theme. If you can add a link to your blog so we can come and see what you created, that would be great!
For my tag I used background text by Paper Artsy and my little girl stamp is from Paperbag Studios.
I forgot to add to yesterday's post that last week's RAK winner was Rhonda. So please shoot me an e-mail with your address info, Rhonda, so I can send something out to you. Congrats, too!
Tag Challenge #16 Sampler
I love looking at these grid tags from last week. They were so inspiring.
Even inspired me to take a second try at the challenge. The way the
slideshow is set up it gives you a chance to see a lot of the details in these tags.
Thanks, ladies, for all the participation this week!
The tag above was by Penny -- sorry, Penny, I mistakenly left your tag out of the slideshow.
TMTA
I had to go into my vintage card collection to find an image of a girl and her doll -- which is the theme for Think Monday, Think ATC's challenge this week. I shrunk it and added it to a vintage flash card from Melissa Frances.
More Fairest Flower
My Fairest Flower stamps from Oxford Impressions were still on my desk from yesterday (when I woke up at 4:00 this morning and went into my craft room), so here's another card I created using that set.
I reworked yesterday's card, too, as I made that card at 4:00 in the morning as well -- but I don't think I was quite awake yet:)
Stamps from, coincidentally, the Fairest Flower sheet by Oxford Impressions:)
Tag Challenge Take Two
I have been so inspired by all the grid tags that I've been seeing as a result of Tuesday's Challenge -- and since I was never really crazy about my inspiration tag despite all the wonderful comments I've received -- I decided to give it another try. There's absolutely no stamping here, but using up bits of things I have, but this just seems more appealing to me.
So this one I'm happy with:)
Tag Challenge #16 -- Grid Tag
Honestly, I'm not as happy with my tag this week as I'd like to be. But then again, when it comes to grid cards/tags, I'm no Jacqueline. She is a pro at these and I always admire her work with them. She makes it look so easy. So I thought I'd use it as an inspiration point this week. Well, this is what I came up with -- hope to see what you all are inspired to create!
Tag Challenge Sampler
Here is a sampling of tags submitted for the "In A Word" Challenge. We had a record number of contributions -- with multiple tags from several artists.
I promised an RAK -- and this one goes to Lorraine! Congrats to you!
Send me an e-mail with your info, please, and I'll get this right out:)
Saturday's Workout
Saturday's Workout has a theme to alter an original postcard or photograph. I chose to alter this mini cabinet card I found recently -- already distressed for me with some obvious water stains on it.
Theme Thursday
The theme this week is Vintage Women. I used an image from CollageVisions. I placed it under an image of the Eiffel Tower
which I printed out on Vellum.
The background is an ATC stamp from Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz. I forgot I had this and I really like it....makes a great vintage
background.
For those interested this is ATC #150! I am done!
Altered Cabinet Cards
These cabinet cards are a few of the flea market finds I showed the other day. Just took a mind to alter them a bit. The frames around them are from the Crafty Secrets postcard kits. This is the part that was left after you punched out the chipboard postcard. They fit perfectly onto the cabinet cards.
Another Halloween ATC
Well, this was easy. Why you may ask? Well, frankly, I've got a ton of them stockpiled -- okay, maybe about 30 or so. And it seems as it is the theme for Theme Thursday this week. So here you go!
Halloween ATC
There's a reason there's a "T" on this Halloween ATC. And that's because it's made specifically for Tim Holtz who will be our teacher on the cruise next month. How daunting is that, making something for Tim Holtz himself? All in all though, I'm happy with it.
Tag Challenge #15 -- In A Word
Today's challenge is again on the easier side: Create a tag with one word on it (and one word only!)
You will have two weeks to submit your tags as next Tuesday ends the
Labor Day weekend here in the States and I'll be here, there and everywhere over the holiday weekend.
So create as many tags as you'd like because for every tag you create I'll put your name in the hat for a special bag of ephemera from some of the flea market finds I showed yesterday on my blog. If you've received an RAK from this challenge before, you are still eligible.
Happy tag making -- and see you in two weeks on September 15th.
Sampler for Trio Challenge
Love the assortment of "trios" we found this week -- everything from bullet holes to hands!!! Also we had a record number of participants this week, 18!
(I edited the slideshow below as yesterday some of the artists' names were not listed or were incorrect.)
