Chicago, 1883

Before I give the details on my scrapbook layout I will say although these could be two of my aunts from Chicago 1883 they are not.    It's a vintage photo I received from my friend Sarah, but I thought it worked beautifully to show off my scrapbook page.
The highlight of this page is the background stamp I've used -- one of Red Rubber Designs new releases.   Honestly, until I actually stamped with it I had no idea how gorgeous it was and how many uses I could find for it.   Here's a picture of the stamp I've used:

The stamp set is called "Here I Am" and you can find it at the Red Rubber Designs store here.
I used it on my background paper next to my photo, I used it on the flowers I die cut, and I also used it to create my serendipity squares which I used as embellishments.  Isn't this a gorgeous background stamp?

I've also used other RRD products including these beautiful papers from the Maggie paper series.   Ooooh, I really love these papers!
The Chicago 1883 stamp is one of the fabulous vintage stamps from THIS set.
And the Memories I've stamped at the bottom comes from THIS set which is a must for any scrapbooker.

A reminder that this is scrapbooking month at RRD and there's lots of scrapbooking products on sale as well as very cool newly released stamps.  ( This background stamp above is just one of them.)  You'll also get a free gift with every order.
And did you know that Red Rubber Designs has a library of tutorials you can download for free?  If you are intimidated by their paper packs, mini albums, etc., you can find help in how to put them together through the tutorial downloads.    Tuesdays are the day for new tutorials to be posted, so check out the store tomorrow!
