Tag Tuesday Challenge -- Winter


Today's challenge is simply Winter.  Create a tag using any kind of medium and interpret the theme any way you'd like!
**{So many great tags last week using fabric.  I was happy to see so many participate in that challenge.}**
Details about my tag:  Did you ever start playing with alcohol inks and found you weren't crazy about the effect, so you added another layer of color...and then another ...... and then another?  I can't tell you how many layers of alcohol inks were added to this tag  I finally had to stop and say, for better or worse this is it.   I had embossed snowflakes in white first.  On watercolor paper I created my snow globe, inserting my Art Impression snowman inside and adding Glossy Accents and some glitter at the bottom to create the snow globe effect.

    If I kept adding layers of colour, (when I do, I should say!) I just get mud - much prefer your pretty pink!

    Well your example with the alcohol inks looks great...I am not partial to these inks AT ALL...many seem to be "muddy looking" even straight out of the the bottles. I prefer Liquitex acrylic inks...but to each their own....lovely winter tag you have for us today....

    I was a bit shocked when I saw the theme... WINTER???? I was just beginning to get used to the mild, sunny Spring weather we are having, thinking of butterflies and birds, warm colors etc. etc... But as you used pink on your winter tag, I will forgive you :)

    Louise, your tag is gorgeous. Like Helen, when I keep adding AI, I get mud or rather a darkish gray, not a pretty pink like you did.

    Your tag is adorable, and I know what you mean about adding layer after layer of alcohol ink--I've done that myself! I hope to enter this week's challenge--last week's was so wonderful, all the tags, and the theme was fantastic--I just had too much going on at home! I love your Tag Tuesday challenges, though!

    This is a beautiful tag. The background turned up gorgeous. This challenge wasn´t an easy one after 2 month making winter and christmas card. But I love a good challenge. Thanks for the challenge.
