Tuesday Tag Challenge #8 -- Stamp Away!

There's a special inspiration for my challenge tag this week. You can read more about it at the end of this post. But the challenge I am posting is one that calls for you to stamp away! That is, use only stamps and ink. No background papers, embellishments, etc. But the theme can be anything you'd like.

Now for my inspiration for this tag: I am getting very excited about a special trip I'll be taking in October. I am going on Tim Holtz' stamping cruise to Mexico! I am so excited!!
Another special part of the trip is my bunk mate will be THIS stamper/collector of all things. And we will be traveling with THIS stamper/computer genius and her hubby as well!

Naughty or Nice?

I made this card for the theme at This Thursday, It's All About which was "Naughty or Nice?" This is the perfect stamp for it (and it just came in the mail today!) This little darling is praying Santa will get a good report.

I received these Paper Artsy stamps in today's mail from Ros as an RAK. It was an especially nice one as there was a problem in delivering the first set and the package arrived with a hole in it and no stamps. Ros was nice enough to send me another set!

Oh By Gosh, By Golly.....

...it's time for mistletoe -- and wine? Yes, that is the challenge this week at This Thursday It's All About. I had to read it twice, but it does appear that they are talking about the wine you drink. Although you are free to interpret it as the color wine, which I did in my card. No wine bottle or wine glass stamps here.
I did have a chance to use the sheet music background that Shelly Hickox offered up a week or so ago, the music to Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

I received this 8-1/2x11 sheet of background paper as a freebie from a recent order with an on-line store, so I used it as the base for my spooky house scene.

 

Lots to Share

Get ready for a long post today -- I've got lots of things I've been wanting to share!

First off, I just absolutely love these patriotic stamps from Artistic Outpost (vintage postcard and saluting Boy Scout). I had actually made this card to send in for publication, but got very lazy and decided I hate writing our directions and material supply lists. I'd rather just create. I do enough typing for my day job!

Christmas Bling

The theme at This Thursday was "bling." I have had this very bling-y paper for a while and decided to put it to use for this Christmas card. I also added some stickles and then glitter over that to my snowflakes. Amazing how adding a little glitter to a snowflake can result in glitter all over the craft room!

This Thursday Challenge

This Thursday It's All About....color. Your favorite color, colors inspired by Monet, etc. I immediately thought of this Crafty Individual paper which I just love. I hoard it because I don't have that much, but it contains shades of one of my favorite colors, purple. It also reminds me of Monet's colors.

My stamp is my Paperbag Studios. The flowers are the Michael's bridal flowers which I chalked in matching colors.
