Do you ever get a beautiful catalog or advertisement in the mail and, after reading through it, decide you have to make something of its gorgeous pages? Well, that's what happened to me with this Paper Source catalog that came the other day. My Martha Stewart flower punch was just calling to me. Here's the result.
I adore Paper Source's slogan:
Do Something Creative Every Day.
That's what I try to do -- or feel like I NEED to do. Rather than watch TV or read, I relax by creating (in my case, usually it's cards).
Downtown Chicago is where the main factory/plant for Paper Source is. They have their factory outlet sales twice a year. The bargains are unbelievable and the experience is not to be missed. The lines start early and it's wall to wall people. When they open the doors, it's total mayhem. But what fun! I look forward to this soooo much. Of course, my husband thinks I am insane.

I love Paper Source. I didn't know about these sales though. Any idea when the next one is?
WHAT A GREAT IDEA. I LOVE YOUR BLOG. I HAVE A PUNCH LIKE THIS FROM MARTHA STEWART. I LOVE PAPER SOURCE. WE HAVE ONE HERE IN MPLS.
I love this idea. I am really starting to love that punch too.
No, I haven't but I ran an got my 2006 brochure from Paper Source (haven't gotten 2007 yet)and the sample papers look like good prospects for paper piecing projects, too. Thanks for helping me to see with new eyes, lol.
How clever.......all those flowers are so pretty also :o)
Talk about a great recycling tip. I love it! I also think I'm loving that punch even though I have yet to see any of Martha's new stuff. Wish the nearest M's wasn't an hour away.
Living in Ontario, Canada we don't have access to a lot of these conventions and great sales that you do. Certainly would be worth a weekend away thought. lol
This is an excellent idea, thanks for passing it on!
