Yesterday I spent what seemed like hours working on a birthday card for my son -- it's his 21st next week. So it has to be very special, you know? He will expect something special. (He has a lot of confidence in me:) Well, my wastebasket is filled with failed attempts, including the one where I used my "Let Freedom Ring" stamp. (DH nixed that one.) I guess I just need the right inspiration to hit. Just hope it hits in the next couple days.
So in between my failed attempts at pure genius, I made these simple birthday cards. If I don't get some creative inspiration I can always slap a twenty onto my birthday hat card and be done with it.

Very cute!
they are both stunning. let's hope that strike of genius hits soon. it's so hard when you want to make the perfect card.
I know what you mean but some days just not being able to do anything you set out to do. That's why I find just playing around is more fun. But you did a great job with these cards so your muse must have been hanging around somewhere!
