I found this card in my stash of stuff. I had never used it and didn't quite care for the sentiment. So I yanked off all the embellishments and decided it would make an interesting template of sorts. I then cut out the four squares onto some sturdier cardboard so I could copy them as needed for the cards below. The semi circle on the bottom corner is part of the paper, but I thought that would be a good element to be able to change around a little.
For the card below I used patterned paper (another great chance to use up some scraps). I wanted to experiment some more with my bird stamps from Crafty Secrets. I brought the circle in through a metal rimmed tag.
Another chance to use scraps on the card below, but this time I embossed them. All four squares fit perfectly into the Cuttlebug embossing folder, which made it quite easy. Then I added some more of my Crafty Secrets bird stamps. I punched the circle this time before I stamped on it. I then slit each edge to put my ribbon through.

No way can I choose a favorite - both are great. Love those little birds. Neat idea for the template, too. Maybe you should be Too Too Klever instead of Kard Krazy...
My fav is the second card. I love the texture from the embossing.
Hmmmmm...I just can't pick! Fabulous job on both of those!
Absolutely wonderful! Love your idea and the colours are so bright and cheerful!
Oh my goodness, that last card is a stunner - love those little birds!
