I'm off for a long weekend, so I'll leave you with one of my favorite cards EVER! This is a revised edition of a card I made last fall. The reason I'm so fond of it is because I used one of my mother's recipes in the background. Just seeing her handwriting brings back so many memories. This is one of those cards I'll never send. I just like looking at it. The image is from Daisyd's. The flowers are from Prima (actually, they are an RAK from Jacki, but I think she got them from Prima). I honestly forget who makes the paper, except for the strip at the bottom which is from Daisyd's.
Have a great weekend!

This is such a sweet card! I love how sentimental it is... and I smiled thinking of all the love and meaning behind it. This is something you could frame and treasure.
Thanks for sharing!

Yes, it is beautiful - and they are your colours too! A treasure for sure!
What a great idea to incorporate the recipe - that would be a wonderful card to frame and hang in your kitchen.
Love the card. A great way to remember someone special.
This is perfect. I love the old handwritten recipe. I have some of those from my mom... The flowers are totally perfect. love it all..have a great weekend..
I can see why this is one of your favorites and a keepsake too. The card itself is lovely and what a wonderful idea to put in the recipe.
LOVE this!!! I have been using old family photos (copies, of course) to make cards lately and hadn't thought to use grandma's writing. You're just too clever! And I'm just a treasure hoarding sentimentalist, so I like your style.
