Was I ever thrilled to get an e-mail from fellow Gingerwoodie, Mary O, asking me if I could use some self-adhesive paper lace she had gotten from the Dollar Store. Since I've been in total withdrawal since I used mine all up, I readily said, "YES!" I received it yesterday and have already used it. Thank you, Mary!
Want to share few odds and ends I found at after-Christmas sales. Like this package of gold photo frames from Wal-Mart which cost a whopping 45 cents. All kinds of ideas for these (which include using the picture of this darling boy in the frame).
One of my ideas included using these as a frame for the Holy Tryptich set from StampinUp that I struggled with so much. The gold is a great frame for them although the picture does not do it justice.

I figured these can be used as ornaments or as mini cards.

Great finds Louise - that is something out of my reach here... never mind, I can still enjoy your lovely finds can't I - also love the cards you made with them - that winter one with the flourishes is gorgeous - a lovely quick and easy card, but so effective!
The gift card tag card with the flourishes is my favorite ... so elegant.
Hey Super Shopper - great job, especially those gift tags from Target. Very classy with your swirl. Looked at all you've done since I was last able to visit - WOW! Hope 2008 is a very creative year for you.
I too love that gift tag card. I want to go shopping with you, someday:)
I had some of those books in my hand yesterday, and I put them back. Now I must return to WM and pick them up. Here is my idea for them: Since they have the hangers on them already, they are meant to hang on the tree. Alter the covers, put in pics and memories from the holiday season, and hang it on the tree, one book for each year. The whole family and guests could write something in them; what a memory to keep, huh?
Okay, It's later in the afternoon and I talked my DH into taking me out to lunch; the restaurant is near WM. Of course we went in and I got some of these, glad I went as they didn't have too many left. Thanks for enabling me.
Oooh, that lace even looks better in your craft room than mine! You're very welcome and I know I speak for many when I say I'm looking forward to seeing some of your lovely creations.
Best wishes,
Mary
I love what you did with the gift tags! That little photo looks great as the focal point of your pretty card!
