Once I created the foldover holder I simply punched the half circle at top. I stamped the front of each one of them with the Baroque background stamp by Stampin Up. I used my scallop punch and then added the little circle greeting from Stampin Up inside that. On each one I hand wrote on a little banner whether it was for dinner, dessert, coffee or entertainment.
Here are the four of them I created in matching colors of brown, light and navy blue.
I then created a little holder for them by scrounging around in my kitchen cabinets and finding an almost empty Splenda box which I cut down a bit and wrapped in this blue and red flowered paper from Making Memories. I added the red scalloped border from cardstock and then also created an oval frame (Hero Arts) to hold the sentiment "For You." I placed the whole package in a cellophane bag and added a ribbon to tie it. All in all, it was a nice way to give a bunch of gift cards.

Hey Louise,
Great modification to the candy bar holder, love the idea! I like how you then altered the Splenda box, by the way I love to say Splenda! Sorry back to the gift card holder, awesome idea! For sure something I will be doing down the road! BTW, can you bring that background stamp to camp with you? I'd love to use it.
What a clever idea and a great gift!
Great gift for your brother and his wife! I'm sure they will enjoy their evening out!
What a fantastic presentation for a wonderful gift...I love your idea!
Cute Easter Egg Hunt ATC. Like your gift card holder idea, too, but I never give that nice of gifts. Your arch is very pretty; like that windmill. One stop commenting!
First of all what a truly thoughtful gift!! This gift holder idea is terrific and I love how you've made several lil pkgs and then put into one box. Beautifully created!!
These are reusable gifts in themselves! Love them!
Creatively Yours, Laura
