For a Friend

My friend, Jacki Jones, that I know from the Gingerwood Board and from her blog, the Card Castle, sent me this picture of her grandmother and asked me to give her some ideas as she wants to make a card for her aunt with it. I was happy to do it. The photo is so beautiful this card practically made itself. It also was nice to include the red flower which Jacki sent me as an RAK probably a year or so ago.

Love using old family photos and you did a super job with Jacki's Grandmother. Like that touch of gold lace and the red, even if Jacki is the Purple Princess...

Wonderful card. So nice to see a card with a "real" person photo.

I just have to say that it really looks even better in person. Yes I think I'm going to frame it. I need to get to work on the ones I'm making for my aunt and uncle. Thanks for the inspiration!
