Wednesday Stamper

I wanted to make a patriotic card for two reasons: Number one, we are celebrating the 4th of July here in the states this weekend. Number two, I wanted to make something to promote the Cards for Heroes' promotion for those who create Love cards and Thinking of You cards for the troops in the month of July. (If you click on the banner on the side of my blog, you'll get all the info on that.)

Then I see the theme at Wednesday Stamper calls for using newspaper in your work. So I scour the newspaper for something interesting to incorporate into my patriotic card. All I came up with that I liked was the crossword puzzle.

Stamps are by Artistic Outpost, Studio G, Rhonna Farrer.

Great card, Louise. We get 2 crossword puzzles every day in our paper, which is good since my dh and I both enjoy doing them. Love your tribute to the card senders and the troops.
