For most Americans nothing signifies the end of summer more than Labor Day which we are celebrating this weekend. It's the last three-day weekend of the summer, a lot of children go back to school the day after Labor Day, and most women put their white shoes away.
So I chose to honor the working man with my "end of summer" arch for the challenge at Gothic Arches this week.

Very clever "take" on the theme Louise! Isn't that the truth...away go the white shoes! Even though the official end of summer hasn't arrived, Labour Day still seems like a turning point.
