Two Peas Sketch Challenge

I'm hosting the sketch challenge for this week at Two Peas. My sketch includes making a card which is postcard sized (4x6) and including an inchie on it. My card shows the basic sketch. The inchie is supposed to sit on a ribbon or paper border.

Hate to admit that the other day I was sharing how I took drafting in high school instead of art, and yet I had the most difficult time drawing the sketch itself. To see my humble attempt and the challenge itself, click here: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/userblog.asp?user_id=306257

Love the card. I took some architectural drafting as an adult. Hardest thing for me was doing a sketch book and building a model of the final project. Never did learn how to make a scale model. Stamping is my niche.

This is darling! Love the image and the layout and the colors. A sketch is so NOT a drawing for drafting. A sketch is quick and free flowing. All that drafting sutff is uptight and exact. You're an artist, so you can do anything you want! Happy Weekend!
