Wednesday Stamper

Wednesday Stamper's challenge today is to show your favorite altered object. I just bought a pile of thse chipboard boxes to alter and worked on two last night. One did not have much stamping on it, but this one contains stamps from Paperbag Studios, Inkadinkado, Art Impressions and others.
The box itself is covered with layers of gesso, distress inks, walnut stain and, finally, distress varnish.
I made this for my nephew whose name happens to be "LJ."

There was a new challenge posted yesterday at the Vintage Veranda. This one also has a fabulous Vintage Veranda Fun Pack that will go to one random winner, so check it out

This is awesome! I wish I was closer so you could teach me how to do something this cool. The whole layers and gesso scares me, as I always think I'll ruin it.
