The background I chose for my "Winter Wonderland" piece is from a photograph I took last year when I went on a stamping retreat up in Wisconsin. It was called Silver Birch and you can see one of the lovely silver birches on the left side of the photo. Winter Wonderland is the theme today at Thank God It's Friday. This picture came immediately to my mind. There's a very good reason why I chose to use stamps from Oxford Impressions on this piece (the girl image and music border). Yesterday I was thrilled to hear that I was chosen to be added to their very impressive list of design team members! Their present DT roster includes many artists whose work I have admired since I started stamping about five years ago.
So I'd say so far this new year is off to a good start!
