A complementary issue of Stampington's Catch Up issue arrived yesterday. I expected to see a card or cards I'd submitted a while back. But I was astonished to see a card I submitted almost three years ago! Can anyone beat that? I've seen posts for a year to almost two years, but nothing approaching almost three years.
I checked my old issues of Stampers Sampler and found I had submitted the card below (which is cut off because of the way it was photographed in the magazine) for a challenge for spinner cards which was due August 15, 2006. Which means I was probably working on it in May or June of 2006.

Hi, Louise! I have been lurking on your blog for about three weeks - after seeing you published in so many zines!! I am always drawn to your cards when I see them!
In 2000 I sent some cards to Scrap 'n Stamp and had decided they were not going to use them. At the time, I lived in Elyria OH. Then I moved to California, Colorado, and back to Canton OH. The cards were published in 2005!!! And, they sent my complimentary zine to the correct address in Canton! What a surprise!
Love your blog! Joy
Isn't that funny!? It might be a record. Very cute card!
Three years,,,wow, I also noticed that some of the cards used in the issue are from quite "old" challenges too. I am wondering if this means they have to go that far back to find material to publish,,,aren´t they getting enough of new entries? Just thinking out loud...
Wow--congratulations on being published, even though 3 years later! I guess they keep things on file, don't they--interesting!
