Tag Tuesday #22 -- Paper Piecing

It's good to be back hosting Tuesday Tag Challenges. For this week's theme I chose paper piecing. Which really means just ripping or cutting paper in various shapes and sizes and adding them to your tag.
I wanted to use the "specialty" paper Sarah had given me on the cruise. I inked up several strips of it with different colors of distress inks. Then after I applied it to my tag I found I could stamp on it very nicely.
My image and sentiment are from Oxford Impressions.

Really fun and whimsical tag...I love the little mismatched brads securing the ribbons, they are so charming. Thanks for the paper piecing theme, I love this technique. I'm off to play....I'll link it up later!

Louise, that tag is awesome! WIsh I would have gotten to make a tag today, but I am out of the habit of checking your site to see what the theme is, and tomorrow, NO TIME. Next week in the meantime I am checking out all the gorgeous tags everyone has made.
