Sunday Postcard Art

This is my postcard for the Christmas theme at Sunday Postcard Art.
This started by stamping a parentheses on some cream cardstock and then creating a frame with my inkpad all the way around.   I used a Stampers Anonymous stamp to create the splattered background.  First I stamped it in Brilliance gold ink, but when that didn't stand out enough I added some gold Radiant Pearls to it which increased the color.  Finally, I printed out one of my favorite Christmas card images on vellum and then cut it out to add to my postcard.

Louise, this is such a very special Christmas card! I love the end results from all the different steps you took in making this beautiful piece. The crackled background is so gorgeous. Love the colors and of course, the central image. Blessings on you and your family this Christmas and many happy crafting days in 2010.
