More DCWV Mariposa Cards

I was in a mood yesterday (think very dreary Sunday afternoon here in these parts) to play around some more with that gorgeous paper from DCWV,  Mariposa.
It's very busy and glittery (did I say gorgeous) but is somewhat challenging to work with.
I lived dangerously here:  My first card I made on white cardstock which I never do.  Ivory is the base for 99 percent of my cards.  The second and fourth card I made on colored cardstock -- once again, something I rarely do.  For card number three I used an old stamp that needed to be used again and then added some rub-ons (sentiment and border) which I really, really don't like using.  I think I'm scarred from too many bad experiences with bad rub-ons, although these went on pretty easily.  And my final card is something I don't think I have ever done before and that's make the front of my card with no border whatsoever.  The front shown here is the full size of the card.
That was my exciting Sunday.  Along with sleeping through the Oscars as I usually do.......

Glad to see you out on the edge using that colored cardstock for a card. LOL Sometimes the risks are well worth the results. Looks good!!!
If we had sunshine, I would send some your way but it is dreary and rainy here.
