Tag Tuesday News -- A Brief Interruption

In lieu of the fact that tomorrow Tim Holtz is beginning his annual 12 Tags of Christmas, I am planning on taking a small break from my Tag Tuesday challenge.  I love playing along with Tim's challenge! Last year I had much more of his product as I had just been on his cruise. This year should be a lot more interesting trying to substitute materials.

****I'll be back on December 14th with another Tag Tuesday challenge.****

Until then, leave a comment and let me know whether you too will be playing along with Tim's challenge so I can come and check out your tags.
Everyone who leaves a comment (either yes, they'll be playing along with Tim's challenge or no, they won't ) before Friday will be eligible to win a very cool Christmas RAK to help them in their Christmas creating.   I'll be giving two of them away and will announce the winner early on Friday morning.

Hmmmm, well, I always want to play along, but this year I think life will get in the way, since we're taking a 4-day weekend right in the middle to visit family. But if the stars align and I actually have the "ingredients" - I may get a few tags in! Have fun playing, Louise!

Aww, I will miss the challenge this week! No, I won't be playing along, don't have the tools, but I will be looking around to see those who do!

Yes, I'll be playing in as many days as I can, somehow or other! (Although given we're having a snow storm at the moment, maybe I won't be able to get to work, LOL!)

No, I don't think I will have the time (or enough products) to play with Tim. However, I will check out his blog every day to see exactly what he comes up with - it is always so amazing to see what he does!

I don't have much of Tim's products, so I won't be playing along. It will be fun to see all the beautiful projects people make that are playing along though.

No I won't be playing along. I simply don't have the time what with work (5:30 am to 4:30 pm) but I do find the time to follow along and I do save each one so I can play when I find a little time.

Yep, I'll be playing, trying to do two tags, one in Tim, one in Wendy style. Trying is the key word there...it will be fun to see what you come up with Louise!

I will definitely be checking them out, but not sure I will be playing. I don't have alot of Holtz products, so the substitution may be tough. Sure fun to watch though.

I would love to play along, but don't have most of his products. I love looking at his products and creations, though, and will follow along "in spirit" during the 12 days! Cna't wait to see what everyone creates!

Since I have more TH products this year due to the CCC's, I think I am a yes girl on at least some! so does a yes and no count?

I have only a few of his Distress Ink pads, plus I have no time - too busy at work - but I'll be watching with interest since this is the first year I've been collaging.
Thanks for doing a give-away.

Well I am hoping to have a try this year, depends on the products and if I can find an alternative

Nope. I won't be playing along - I would love to, I really enjoy making tags (I just made a dozen tags a few weeks ago), but I've got a lot of work in my Uni courses before Christmas break. :( No playtime for me!

Oh yes I am playing! Can't wait! I ordered a few of the new items-can't get 'em all. Last year we moved from NY to Ohio the first week in December-so I missed aout completely. I am going to try to do last year and this year at the same time!

I don't think I'll have the time to play along, but I'm sure I'll see many tags created by all of you who do join. Have fun with the challenge! I'm looking forward to seeing the results!

Hi Louise,

No I won't be playing along but if you're posting the tags you make I'll still be visiting to gain inspirations.

So, I haven't been stamping much and I'm thinking I need a kick in the pants, er I mean a good dose of inspiration, so I came here hoping to do a tag or at least think about it. I love the Tim Tags, but I never do them. They are far too intense for me. I just drool and sigh over them A LOT. But then I've been known to do it over your stuff, too, Louise. Have a fun break and I'll just cruise backward and see what I've missed here the last month or so. Hope to find more time to pop by in the near future.

Things are so busy around here that I'm afraid I'll won't be able to do the 12 tags with Tim. Also, I don't have some of the equipment like die cut machines and such. It does sound like so much fun, though.

hi Louise. i don't know if i'll play 12 tags or not -- i'll have to do some research on it! but i'll be busy making cards and such and would love to be in the running for your give-away! thank you. xo

Great idea! I'm going to play along with Tim... let's see how far I get!

Rhonda said...

I will play in thought only...but I will certainly be watching it all very carefully!

I hope I can fit in a few of the tags this year. They are always so much fun to do. I can see that I will have to improvise a lot since I don't have much of the new stuff.

Donna said...

Hi Louise, yep I'll be trying to play along every day. Don't have a lot of his stuff, but that's half the fun trying to improvise, don't you think?

No, I will not be playing along but I will be following his blog and others who are playing. I like seeing how everyone puts their own spin on his ideas. I really liked the blue facet technique. Yours was beautiful. I definitely want to try it. Thanks for sharing.
