Travel Journal

The theme for the Design Team this week at Red Rubber Designs is "School's Out."
To me that means time to hit the road, take a vacation, get out of town!
So I created this mini chipboard travel album/journal to memorialize the journey.

All papers used for this album were from RRD's Catelynne collection.   Not only are the papers gorgeous, but the collection comes with a lot of punch out tags and other goodies to make this album an easy one to coordinate.
I stamped the cover with my new favorite set, Fly Fairies.  Bicycles are so "in" right now and the collage stamp featuring the script, the postmarks and the bicycle  I just adore!

To create the spaces for photos and memories, I used Fabulous Frames.  I added the "Place Photo Here" text which comes from the Memories set.  My journaling spot was also created from the Fabulous Frames and then lined by hand to create space for notes.

On this page, I added a small pocket by ripping some paper and then inserting a tag.  Once again, I stamped the bicycle collage onto the paper.  The next page includes a photo spot and a journaling tag I created simply by added some lines to the tag like I did on the previous page.

I'll be adding pages to this in the future.  You can get this Chipboard Album from Maya Road at Red Rubber Designs along with the following product as well:
Paper:  Catelynne
