Red Rubber Design's December Blog Hop

It's all about flowers this month at Red Rubber Designs!
To start us off, the contest for the month is to guess the number of flowers in the floral arrangement in the flower arrangement shown below.

(Only 1 guess is allowed and should be sent to contest@RedRubberDesigns.com.
One winner will be chosen from the correct answers. If there is no correct guess, the person who comes the closest will receive the spotlight stamp " Flowers and Holly". In case of a tie, a random draw will take place between those tied.  Contest ends Sunday, December 9 at midnight CST).

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I thought I'd begin a calendar for the following year using the flower stamps we'll be showcasing this month.   So from today's set, Flowers and Holly, I chose the holly and pansy for my first two pages.
It took everything I had not to use green and red for the holly, but I forced myself to use some different colors.  I was pleased with the blue and silver holly background for my December page.
 I love pansies, so I chose that flower to create my May page.
I also used the background stamp, Beauty of a Woman, and the dotted lines from this Punctuation set.
very nice, Louise. I love calendars. That's a good idea of how to use the stamps.
I really like your non-traditional holiday calendar. i have the opposite problem. I have to force myself to use red and green. They are both beautiful!
