Yup, this one came back yesterday (along with a **few** others that were rejected for publication as well). Well, I like it. It's one of my Cuttlebug cards.
I used paper from DCWV's Pocketful of Posies and then sanded it down so the white core of the paper came through. The ribbon slide is also from the CB die cuts. I just colored that with a brown ink pad, added a bright ribbon, a couple brads and a flower and there you have it. (Copy that formula and you can have a card rejected, too!)
I don't send my "rejects" on to other publications. I always feel that the cards I send in are specific to that publication's style, so I just leave it at that. But, hey, now that I'm blogging my rejects will find a place to show themselves off! That should take care of posts for a while:)

I just love your card....Thanks for the comment in Auds blog. I will come back!
(And my sister is married Granlund..:))
This is a great looking card...love the colors you chose!
Don't take the "rejection" personally. It's a great card. they probably just didn't have room for it.
I was reading the Stamper's Sampler April/May issue at lunch and you were in there several times. I like this card and love the idea for the slide die cut. I was published by a magazine a few times years ago. EVERYTHING I've sent them since the person in charge of picking out the artwork changed has been rejected. And while I didn't find any of the cool PSX stamps at my Big Lots (Michigan), I did get two packages of Making Memories plain paper (25 sheets) in a sage green and a dark Christmas red for $1.00 each. Keep your chin up and Happy Stamping!
This is really a wonderful card, great colours and design!
Don't give up, I think it's fab. I love the contrast of the card and the ribbon, great card!
