My son is going to a wedding tonight and needed a quick card. (My older sister warned me I'd probably be making cards for my son for the rest of his life -- and she could be right.) But, let's face it, could you resist this face? So Mom cooked up this card for him using a new stamp from Queens Dresser Drawers. I like the brown, although I know it's not your typical wedding color.

These days, I usually see that you've posted in Google Reader and only actually come to your blog to comment. Anyway because you mentioned your banner, I'm here and I gasped when I saw it. It is very striking! I love the brightness of the flowers.
The story about the Kentucky Lilies makes it even prettier! I forgot to mention the card. I'm not much for traditional colors anyway, and I this card really looks the part. The embossed print in the background makes it festive. Great job. And both those faces are cute.
Lovely card!
The photo of your Lilies is fantastic, it makes a beautiful banner.
this is a beautiful card! such a sweet photo of your son too!
I think the new banner is beautiful!
Love the card. Your banner is fabulous. The story really touched my heart.
They are beautiful and a perfect reflection of you. Sis
I love the lilies story, quite funny too, because I have orange lilies which I wrote a story about this afternoon on my other family blog... I have lilies that come from a French family in the Black Mountains who have probably had them for years and years and years!! This flowers must have a tenacity in them to survive hundreds of years!!
Coming back to your card - just beautiful!
Coming back to your son - he is cute!
Your son is just adorable. I see why you can't possibly resist him.
Love the card...and your new lilies banner is beautiful! i'm so impressed that you did that!
