Crowns and Wings


That's this weeks theme at Sunday Postcard Art. If I had better light I'd have taken a photo of this because a scan just does not show the sparkle in this card -- in the jewel I placed in the top of the crown or the way the stars sparkle over these little angels as well as the little gems in the bottom corner.

I did an alcohol ink background here on this paper from DCWV called The Luxury Stack. It's a glossy cardstock and it took to these inks fabulously.

The image is from Crafty Individuals, quote is from Stampers Anonymous, bird from Prima, and crown flourish from Autumn Leaves.

Beautiful work, I can imagine how sparkly it must look. Great tip on the DCWV paper which is good for alcohol inks.
